Consult IT | Remote-first | West Wales/Carmarthenshire | Uncapped Commission
Consult IT is a growing Managed IT and Connectivity provider supporting UK businesses with mobile, broadband, hardware and technology services.
We are looking for a commercially driven sales person to help grow our business mobile customer base, with a focus on EE, Vodafone and O2 business mobile contracts.
This is a new business sales role. You will be speaking with SME decision-makers, identifying savings and better-fit mobile solutions, building your own pipeline and closing deals.
You will need to be proactive, but you will not be left to figure everything out on your own. You will have access to clear pricing, proposal support, CRM tools, supplier support, product guidance and direct access to the Director.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will:
- Sell Vodafone and O2 business mobile contracts to UK SMEs
- Contact business owners and decision-makers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and local business activity
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Identify opportunities to reduce customer costs or improve their mobile setup
- Prepare quotes and proposals with support from Consult IT
- Follow up consistently and manage deals through to close
- Build long-term relationships with customers
- Expand accounts into broadband, hardware, connectivity and wider IT services over time
Earnings & Progression
- Basic salary: £28,000 to £35,000, depending on experience and performance
- Uncapped commission
- Commission based on net profit
- Additional milestone bonuses and incentives

This role is designed for someone who wants to build real earnings, not sit in a capped commission structure.
Progression route:
Business Sales Executive → Business Development Manager → Head of Business Development → Sales Director
Who This Role Suits
You do not need to know every telecoms product on day one. We can support you with the product knowledge.
You do need to be confident, consistent and commercially minded.
This role would suit someone with experience in:
- B2B sales
- Business development
- Telecoms, mobile, connectivity or IT sales
- Field sales
- Account management with a new business focus
- Recruitment, utilities, merchant services, insurance or another target-driven sales environment
Telecoms or mobile experience would be a strong advantage, but it is not essential.
How You’ll Work
This is a remote-first role with flexibility around how you generate business.
You may use phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, face-to-face meetings and local business relationships. We care about results, consistency and customer quality rather than unnecessary activity tracking.
This is primarily a new business role, so you will need to be comfortable creating opportunities. Consult IT is building its inbound sales engine, but this is not currently a purely inbound or lead-fed position.
Some travel may be required for client meetings, networking and business events.

Requirements
- Previous sales, business development or target-driven experience
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers
- Strong follow-up and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Commercially minded and motivated by performance
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ideally based in South Wales or within reasonable travelling distance for occasional meetings
