The Role
As an Executive Driver with AJM Travel, you will provide safe, comfortable, punctual, and professional journeys for a diverse range of clients.
You may be transporting corporate clients, holidaymakers, cruise passengers, or high-profile individuals, so a professional appearance, excellent customer service, and complete discretion are essential.
The role offers flexible working opportunities, allowing you to supplement your work by operating on platforms such as Uber at your convenience and manage your schedule effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing safe, punctual, and comfortable passenger journeys
- Delivering consistently high standards of customer service
- Maintaining a professional, courteous, and discreet approach with all passengers
- Undertaking airport, cruise, corporate, private hire, and long-distance transfers
- Planning routes efficiently and adapting to changing schedules
- Assisting passengers with luggage where appropriate
- Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Ensuring all journeys are completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations
- Representing AJM Travel professionally at all times
Must Have
- Valid Swansea Council Private Hire Taxi Badge
- Minimum 2 years' experience in long-distance passenger transport
- Clean and responsible driving record
- Ability to pass, or already hold, a valid DBS check
- Excellent punctuality and time-management skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules
- Strong commitment to passenger safety and customer satisfaction
Desirable
- Previous experience as a private hire driver, chauffeur, executive driver, or similar role
- Good knowledge of local routes, airports, cruise terminals, and major transport hubs
- Experience transporting corporate, VIP, or high-profile clients
- Familiarity with ride-hailing platforms such as Uber
- Experience undertaking long-distance transfers
