Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Southern Regional Soft Services Manager to oversee and coordinate soft services operations across the southern region, ideally located in Swindon/London or nearby areas. This role involves leading teams, managing projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Any relevant security experience would be handy, however we will provide free SIA certification to th right candidate.

Salary: 36k + 6k car allowance

Duties

Lead and supervise regional soft services teams, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company standards. Regular site visits and recruitment for sites when needed.
Oversee project management activities related to soft service operations, including planning, recruitment, execution, and evaluation.
Develop and implement maintenance programmes for equipment involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites within the region.
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to tailor service delivery to meet specific needs.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality standards and operational efficiency.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical knowledge, electrical systems, and troubleshooting procedures.
Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to optimise operational performance.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery through innovative solutions and best practices.
Prepare reports on operational performance, project progress, and team development for senior management.

Qualifications

Proven management experience with a track record of supervising teams in a technical or service environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, mechanical systems, and electrical maintenance.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills in English.
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in maintenance operations is highly desirable.
Previous experience supervising or managing soft services or facilities management is preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead regional operations within a reputable organisation committed to excellence in soft services management.

Pay: £42,000.00 per year
