Type of site: Corporate Commercial site

Pay: £12.71 / hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 18:00 hours. Average of 60 hours per week.

Job Overview

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Officer to join our team at one of our sites located in Swindon. Position will be based at a high calibre commercial site based at the Main Reception Desk/ Warehouse / Gatehouse.

This is a full-time role.

Holiday and sickness cover may be required therefore all interested applicants need to be fully flexible in their approach and attitude.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Access/Egress Control Duties

· Vehicle Checks

· Random Bag Checks

· Regular Site Inspection Patrols during Shifts

· Maintain Log Books & Reports as applicable

· Response to any Emergency situation

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

· Applicants must be aged 18+ with a valid SIA License.

· Must hold First Aid Certification.

· Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history.

· Proof of right to work and live in the UK.

· Very smart with an excellent command of the English language

· Able to work independently to provide support to our client and the team.

· Approachable, diplomatic, reliable.

· Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ – when applicable.

· Flexible and willing to learn new procedures.
