Full job description

Job Title:

Lifeguard

Responsible to:

Head of Watersports

Main Purpose of Job:

To provide lifeguard cover for the beach area and the Aquaventure course, together with high customer service.

Main responsibilities

Ø To ensure the Aquaventure is set up, checked and cleaned before the park opens

Ø To provide lifeguard cover for the Aquaventure course

Ø To provide lifeguard cover for the Beach

Ø To ensure the Aquaventure buildings and equipment are kept clean and tidy

General responsibilities

Ø To ensure excellent customer service at all times

Ø To be able to work both as part of a team and individually

Ø To represent the core values of the company at all times

Ø To ensure that you participate in any training sessions required to keep your certification valid

Additional duties:

Ø Undertake any other reasonable management request

Ø Attend staff meetings when required

Ø Work flexibly where possible to support colleagues when required

Legal Duties:

Ø Comply fully with all legal requirements including GDPR, Employment law

Ø To attend lifeguard training sessions when required

Ø Attend any Health and Safety training when required

Ø Ensure full compliance with all areas of Health and Safety as per company Health and Safety policy at all times
