Hannafin Contractors Limited have a fantastic opportunity to join one of our new construction projects starting in shortly in Cheltenham.

At Hannafin, our mission is clear and straightforward: industry leading projects with consistency and professionalism. We are growing pretty fast and looking for a team of employees to work on our new Cheltenham project.

We are a family business who care about our people and have competitive salaries that are negotiable based on your experience.

This is a long term project and we are looking for an experienced Site Managers, and Site Engineers with a background in groundworks as key members of the team.

Essential Requirements for the Site Engineer role are;

All aspects of setting out and levels.
Surveys.
Checking drawings and quantities.
Produce cut and fill reports
Taking off materials.
Working with a number of gangs.
Liaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the project
QA

Key Skills:

Hardworking / timekeeping and reliability.
Prioritising work areas / gangs.
Competent using total stations and GPS.
Strong project management and organisational skills
A commercial understanding of budgets and timelines for projects
Good communication skills at all levels to enable you to work with clients, construction managers, subcontractors etc
Technical know-how
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of IT knowledge
Knowledge of relevant building and health and safety legislation

Essential Requirements for the Site Manager role are;

SMSTS or SSSTS
Live locally or a travelable distance.
Groundworks experience
I.T. Literate
Forward planning of activities and material requirements.
Briefing operatives on daily tasks and monitoring progress.
Working in accordance with RAMS

The following additional skills would be very useful;

Enhanced I.T. skills
First Aid
