About us

This post is currently only open to internal candidates

An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Refuse and Recycling Collection Service for the recruitment of 1x waste collection loaders based at Woolston Depot.

We are committed to delivering a high-quality service to our residents and are looking for flexible and enthusiastic team members to work with us to achieve our aims.

The role

The successful applicants will be expected to be flexible and prepared to work across the whole range of services we provide including domestic, recyclable, food and green waste collections.

What's needed?

Operational hours of work are for 37 hours per week over a 4 day working week Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 4.15pm. The hours available are for a full day shift within the operating days and times shown.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

DBS clearance is required.
