At Woven Inc Ltd, we’ve been producing high-quality custom clothing, embroidery, screen printing and garment finishing since 2012. Working with businesses, brands, workwear clients and independent labels across the UK, we pride ourselves on quality, reliability and a hands-on approach to production.
Everything we do happens under one roof at our North East production facility , from artwork and customer service through to embroidery, printing and finishing. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Embroidery Operator to join our friendly and hardworking production team.
This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start available.
About The Role
You will be responsible for running an array of Happy embroidery machines ranging from single head through to 4, 8 and 12 head machines. You may also be required to operate more than one machine at a time for both 2D and 3D embroidery production.
The role includes:
- Loading correct DST files
- Checking job sheets for logos, sizes, garment details and embroidery positions
- Uploading files using computer systems
- Preparing and checking stock before production
- Loading templates and setting up embroidery jobs
- Changing thread colours and preparing machines for production
- Framing garments and materials ready for embroidery
- Setting embroidery machines to correct functions
- Carrying out quality control checks on your own work and assisting with cross-checking other jobs
- Garment finishing including removing backing, folding, bagging and packing garments
- General machine maintenance including cleaning, oiling, replacing needles and monitoring thread stock levels
There may also be opportunities to work across other garment finishing and production services within the business.

Essential skills include:

- Ability to ensure embroidery frames and placements are straight and accurate
- Basic computer confidence
Previous embroidery experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
- No weekends
- No bank holiday working
