ABOUT US

Care Surgical is an innovative global company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of patient positioning products and accessories for the healthcare sector. Our products are used by healthcare professionals around the world, helping to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Marketing Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our headquarters in Burscough, Lancashire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing to gain experience across a wide range of marketing activities within a dynamic and fast-paced international business.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant will play an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing activities across our global brands. The successful candidate will assist with content creation, website management, product documentation, events and general marketing administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website & Product Management

· Maintain and update product listings across company websites.

· Ensure product information, specifications, images and product codes are accurate and up to date.

· Assist with website content management using WordPress.

Content Creation & Marketing Support

· Assist with the creation of marketing content including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, newsletters, brochures, leaflets and other promotional materials.

· Support the planning and coordination of product photography and video shoots.

· Research industry trends, competitor activity and market developments.

· Help ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

Product Documentation

· Assist in the creation and maintenance of product manuals, user guides and other instructional documentation.

· Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Product Management team to ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Image Editing & Design

· Edit, resize and optimise product images for digital and print use.

· Assist with the creation of marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.

Administrative Support

· Provide general administrative support to the marketing department.

· Organise and maintain marketing files, shared drives and company documentation.

· Assist with database and contact management.

· Monitor stock levels of promotional materials and literature.

· Support the coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns and projects.

Events & Exhibitions

· Assist with the planning, organisation and logistics of UK and international exhibitions, conferences and events.

· Support the Marketing Manager with event preparation and follow-up activities.

ABOUT YOU

Essential Requirements

· Educated to A-Level standard or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Studies or a related subject.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Enthusiastic, proactive and willing to learn.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience

· Experience using WordPress to manage website content and make updates.

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.

· Previous experience in a marketing, administrative or related role.

· Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline.
