Full job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our school as a Management Accountant, providing key financial support and contributing to the effective management of the school’s resources. You will prepare management accounts for Taunton School Enterprises (TSE), and support with the management accounts for Taunton School, as required.

To be considered for this role, you will hold AAT qualifications and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for finance. You will have proven experience working within a Finance function in a large, fast-paced organisation, along with a strong understanding of finance processes and procedures.

We are looking for someone who is a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, with a flexible approach to work, and excellent interpersonal skills. A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail are essential for this role.

Previous experience within an educational setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
