As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting a Plumbing and Heating Engineer.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in domestic and/or commercial heating systems, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship. This is a varied role covering installations, servicing, repairs, and renewable technologies.
· Hours: Full-time, Monday -Friday, Permanent
· Salary on application - depending on experience
· Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Heating Systems
- Install and commission heat pumps
- Install, service, and maintain gas, oil, and LPG boilers
- Diagnose and repair faults on heating systems
- Work on underfloor heating systems
- Install and maintain solar thermal
- Service and install vented and unvented cylinders (G3 compliant)
Plumbing
- Upgrade domestic hot and cold-water systems
- First and second fix plumbing installations
- Install and repair pipework, sanitary ware, and drainage
- Diagnose leaks, blockages, and general plumbing faults
- Fit and maintain pressurised systems and pumps
Renewables & Electrical
- Connect heating controls, thermostats, and smart systems
- Carry out wiring associated with boilers, heat pumps, and heating controls
- Perform electrical testing related to heating installations
Requirements
- Gas Safe, OFTEC, or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Experience with renewables (beneficial)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
