Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About Us

ACT Response Ltd is a well-established domestic alarm and security company, providing high-quality installation, maintenance, and monitoring services to homeowners across the UK. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Manager to help drive our business forward.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role for someone with experience in the security or alarm industry. As Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the office, lead and support staff across different departments, and play an active role in identifying opportunities to grow and develop the business.

We are looking for someone who understands domestic alarm systems, can motivate teams, build strong customer relationships, and bring fresh ideas to improve processes, increase sales, and support the continued success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the daily operations of the office and ensuring all departments work efficiently together.
Leading, supporting, and managing staff across administration, customer service, and operational departments.
Monitoring staff performance and assisting with training and development.
Handling customer enquiries and providing knowledgeable advice on alarm systems and services.
Maintaining excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase business growth.
Developing and implementing ideas to drive new business and improve customer retention.
Assisting with marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Managing office administration, records, and company documentation.
Working closely with the Directors to help shape the future direction of the business.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in an Office Manager or management role.
Experience managing and motivating teams across multiple departments.
Knowledge and experience within the alarm, security, or fire and security industry.
A good understanding of domestic alarm systems and customer requirements.
A proactive and commercially minded approach with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and office management software.
The ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions.
