The Role

We are recruiting for an Aircraft Engineer – Mechanical to support aircraft maintenance activities under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1), ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards. You will play a key role in maintaining aircraft readiness through inspections, servicing, defect rectification, and supporting operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

Practical experience in aircraft maintenance or engineering environments (service or commercial aviation desirable)
Experience working on pressurised or un-pressurised aircraft (desirable)

Skills

Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow risk assessments and technical instructions
Ability to carry out maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently to deadlines
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Competent in using hand tools and ground support equipment safely
IT literate, including MS Office systems
Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable with a customer-focused approach

Qualifications

Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent (including Maths, English, and Physics modules)
Human Factors knowledge
Eligible for security clearance (UK/ITAR requirements)
Medically fit to perform aircraft maintenance tasks
