Overview

Park Holidays UK is seeking a talented, motivated, and passionate Catering Team Member to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the preparation of delicious meals and ensuring a high standard of food service. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you.

Job Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of the kitchen team, ensuring all dishes meet the quality standards.
Help with tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organising food stations to ensure a smooth cooking process.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labelling of ingredients to prevent contamination.
Assist in dishwashing and cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes, ensuring all items are sanitised and ready for use.
Provide general support to kitchen staff, including helping with inventory management, unpacking deliveries, and other tasks as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, though not essential.
Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately and ensure the quality of food preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm and focused demeanour.
