What you will be doing……
- Working alongside the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you will cook and present fresh seasonal dishes for guests to enjoy in our Olive Tree restaurant or as part of their conference/special event.
- With a passion for food, you will be well organised and take pride in delivering to a high standard.
- Assisting in the day to day running of the kitchen.
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
- Working 5 days out of 7 per week, to include weekends and bank holidays.
What we are looking for……
- NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery
- Experience in a fresh food/high volume kitchen
- Familiar with Standard Operating Practise manuals
- Small banquet experience
- Basic ordering and stock management experience
- Up to date food hygiene qualification/knowledge of HACCP
- Positive attitude, motivated, passionate about food
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Desire to progress
- Proof of right to work in the UK
