Level 3 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Wanted(Part Time)
ACE Mechatronics is a growing independent automotive repair and diagnostic workshop and Apprenticeship Centre based in Telford.
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team.
We have trainees positions also available so get in touch if keen on working in a modern workshop environment.
Duties Include:
* Vehicle servicing and maintenance
* Brake and suspension repairs
* Clutch replacements
* Gearbox repairs and replacements
* Turbocharger diagnostics and repairs
* Engine diagnostics and fault finding
* Electrical and electronic diagnostics
* MOT preparation and repair work
* Maintaining accurate job records
* Ability to mentor and support a learner.
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Experience using diagnostic equipment
Desirable:
* Hybrid and EV experience
* Airbag crash data reset experience
* ECU/ECM cloning and programming
* Auto locksmith experience
* ADAS calibration knowledge
