With a small, nurturing environment and a passionate team, we’re ready to launch—and we’re looking for a Responsible Individual to help us do it right.
The Role
As our Ofsted-registered Responsible Individual, you’ll provide strategic oversight, regulatory leadership, and compassionate guidance to ensure our home meets and exceeds the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Responsible Individual registered with Ofsted
- Provide oversight and support to the Registered Manager
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Reg 34, and Quality Standards
- Lead on inspection readiness, governance, and continuous improvement
- Liaise with Ofsted, placing authorities, and external stakeholders
- Champion child-centred care and staff wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in children’s residential care and Ofsted-regulated settings
- Eligibility to register as a Responsible Individual
- Strategic insight and operational understanding of EBD care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- Professional, empathetic leadership style
- Availability for 1 day per week (flexible)
