Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, 6 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Time: 0600 - 0800). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services. Prior janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to the highest standard
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines diligently

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Tenterden TN30 6AN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
