Full job description

FULL TIME Early Years Educator (TERM TIME ONLY)

Pollyanna Pre-School CIO is a fun and exciting pre-school, offering children from the age of 2 a wholesome and secure early years education. Pollyanna Pre-School CIO strive to bring the best out of children, support and nurture them with their developmental needs. Our preschool is a much sought after setting with its location being in the heart of a close community. Due to demand, we are looking for another qualified early years educator to join our team. The successful candidate will have the below responsibilities, however the duties listed below is not an exhaustive list.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Level 2 or 3 qualified in Early Years Education
Current EYFS knowledge
Safeguarding & Paediatric First Aid Trained (Desirable)
Experience of working with children from two to five years old

MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To plan and provide stimulating play with children in line with the new EYFS.
- Maintain good communication between children, parents / carers and colleagues.
- Key Person - To be able to understand each child's individual development needs and help expand their growth accordingly.
- Attend training courses.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in and outside of the setting.
- Effectively safeguard children and families of the setting.
- To be responsible for observation and record keeping so that children’s attainment and progress is effectively and regularly assessed.

The position is to start Monday 7th September on the following days:

Mondays - Friday 8.30am - 15.15pm (33.75 hours per week)
