**Holiday Camp Volunteer Opportunities – Canterbury (Ages 14+)**
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers aged 14 and above (any age above this) to join our Holiday Camps at Simon Langton Girls' Grammar School, Canterbury this summer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience working with children, developing leadership skills, building confidence, and learning more about the childcare, education, coaching, or activity camp sectors.
Over the past five years, we have successfully supported more than 20 volunteers in gaining valuable experience.
Flexible Volunteering:
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 5 days of our 4.5 week programme. You can choose how those days are completed, for example:
* One full week
* One day per week
* Two or three days per week
* Multiple weeks
* The entire 4.5-week programme
We are happy to work around your availability wherever possible.

Location: Simon Langton Girls' Grammar School, Canterbury
Camp Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July
* Monday 3rd August – Friday 7th August
* Monday 10th August – Friday 14th August
* Monday 17th August – Friday 21st August
* Monday 24th August – Wednesday 26th August
What You'll Do:
As a Holiday Camp Volunteer, you will support our experienced staff team in delivering a fun, safe, and engaging experience for children.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the organisation and supervision of activities including sports, arts and crafts, theatre, and circus skills
* Supporting children's participation and engagement throughout the day
* Helping to facilitate games and group activities
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
* Assisting with the setup and pack-down of activity areas and equipment
* Providing basic childcare support under the guidance of experienced staff
* Helping create a welcoming, inclusive, and positive camp environment
* Promoting our camp values of friendship, confidence-building, teamwork, and fun
