Address: Mill Lane, Barnham, Thetford IP24 2NG
Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 pro rata (16,341 - £16,891 per annum)
Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week, 46 weeks per year (with holiday entitlement), 5 hours per day, flexibility of hours depending on circumstances and suitability
Contract: Permanent, 21 September 2026 (or via negotiation with the successful candidate)

Barnham CEVC Primary School are seeking a flexible and committed Caretaker to take pride in the upkeep and maintenance of our internal and external school site.

Barnham CEVC Primary School is a supportive Thrive School of Excellence, caring school with a family feel, located in the beautiful rural countryside in the village of Barnham, near Thetford, Suffolk, on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.

We are looking for someone who:

can meet the duties outlined within the job description

is reliable and punctual
has high expectations of their standard of work and pays attention to detail
has an unblemished safeguarding record
has a good standard of IT literacy and willingness to use electronic/digital systems
can solve problems and work independently, with a flexible approach to priorities and complete tasks and work items effectively.
