Job Overview

we are currently looking for labourers to join our team installing suspended floor systems in new build properties at construction sites across East Anglia.

Requirements:

- CSCS card

- Driving license

-Must live within a 10 mile radius of Red Lodge or be able to get to Red Lodge for onward travel to site.

- UTR number (for self-employment under CIS)

- Willingness to travel and work as a team alongside other construction professionals.

- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

- Own PPE (hard hat, hi-vis vest and steel toe boots)

- Physical strength and stamina for handling heavy building materials

-Must be able to cut in a straight line using a circular saw

Duties:

-Lifting and placing concrete beams according to floor plans and load/span requirements.

-Ensuring correct beam alignment and spacing.

-Cutting and laying concrete and/or polystyrene blocks in between beam spacings.

-Grouting and finishing to specification.

-Preparation of damp proof membrane ready for concrete pour.

-Installing polystyrene top boards.

-Maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards.

-Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and meets building regulations.

Desirable:

-A willingness to undertake further training in construction (SSTS, crane supervisor)

-Ability to read and work from structural drawings.

- An interest in becoming a site supervisor ensuring all plots are completed in a timely manner.
