The role

Commercial Account Executive

Salary Circa £26000 - £28000 (dependant on experience)
Full Time position,
Permanent Contract
Location: Thirsk, York or Boston Spa
Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch or 4 days per week 8:30 – 17:30 with 30min lunch

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Vale of York, Leeds & Harrogate Agency.

About the role:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Prospecting Activities; pro-actively seek out and research businesses within target non-farming commercial sectors in order to develop a sales pipeline of quality prospects sufficient to achieve new business targets
Engage with sales initiatives to help grow our existing book of commercial business.
Cross sell a wide range of products to our existing portfolio of clients. Introducing the full range of NFU Mutual products; including Financial Services & Risk Management Services.
Responsible for maintaining high levels of professionalism while working towards building a quality rapport with every client.
Work with the management team to stay up to date with product developments and changes in processes.

About you:

What we are looking for:

Experience in providing high quality customer service in an office or admin environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and a friendly and social character with the ability to deal with a diverse range of clientele.
A keen team worker with the ability to work collaboratively with others to complete a wide range of tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident in working with computers and CRM systems, experience with a Customer Relationship Management System and Social Media skills is an advantage.
