About the Role

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Luxury Retail Security Officer to work within a prestigious luxury retail environment in the UK.

You will play a key role in protecting customers, employees, stock and property while providing a discreet, professional and welcoming security presence. This role is ideal for an experienced SIA-licensed security officer who understands the high standards expected within luxury retail.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a highly visible yet professional security presence.
Protect customers, staff, high-value merchandise and company property.
Monitor and respond to suspicious activity, theft and security incidents.
Conduct regular patrols and security checks.
Monitor CCTV and other security systems where required.
Prevent loss while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
Deal professionally with incidents and challenging situations.
Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations.
Liaise with management, police and emergency services when required.
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Provide assistance to customers in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain a smart, well-presented appearance at all times.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence.
Right to work in the UK.
Previous security experience.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Strong observation and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual and flexible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Luxury retail security
High-end fashion or jewellery retail
Department stores
Corporate security
Hotel security
Concierge or front-of-house security
Loss prevention

Pay: £12.71-£13.11 per hour
