Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate ideally should be able to weld various materials, read engineering drawings, and fabricate to a high standard. If you have a passion for welding and fabrication, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish metal parts.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication and welding processes.
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation is required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
