Job Summary
Reactive Maintenance Repairs

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. You must be confident in kitchen plumbing, bathroom plumbing and general plumbing & maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with a range of tools and equipment. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, physical strength for heavy lifting, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service.

Salary negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing systems.
Measure and cut materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fitting.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repairs.
Assist in assembly of plumbing components for new constructions or renovations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or carpenters when necessary for complex projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing, with additional skills in welding, carpentry, or mechanical knowledge considered advantageous.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques related to plumbing work.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations and repairs.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties if required on site.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Physical fitness suitable for working in confined spaces or at heights as needed.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are preferred but not essential for all roles.
