Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit either an experienced Electrical Project Manager or an ambitious Electrician, Site Supervisor or Working Foreman looking to take the next step into project management.

The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you will manage projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing electrical projects from award through to successful completion.
- Meeting prospective and existing clients on site to discuss their requirements, assess the scope of works and build long-term client relationships.
- Carrying out site surveys for client-direct projects.
- Preparing accurate electrical estimates, quotations and tenders.
- Estimating labour, materials and project costs to produce competitive and profitable quotations.
- Preparing pre-construction documentation, project programmes and mobilisation information.
- Producing technical submissions, equipment schedules, product data and technical responses in accordance with client and consultant requirements.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications, identifying value engineering opportunities and proposing practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Scheduling works, coordinating project programmes and allocating labour to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Planning and coordinating engineers, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
- Procuring materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Attending client, consultant and site meetings.
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, costs and profitability.
- Preparing, pricing and agreeing variations.
- Managing project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring all works comply with current regulations, health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Providing technical support and guidance to engineers and site teams.
- Managing testing, commissioning, O&M manuals, as-built information and project handovers.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for additional works and supporting the continued growth of the business.
- Promoting the Redlands brand by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest professional standards.
About You

Experienced Electrical Project Managers
- Previous experience delivering electrical projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- Experience preparing estimates, quotations and managing variations.
- Excellent organisational, communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Electricians Looking to Progress
- Qualified electrician with strong technical knowledge.
- Experience as a Working Foreman, Site Supervisor or Lead Electrician would be advantageous.
- A genuine ambition to progress into project management.
- An interest in estimating, planning and client management.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- This is a position based in the office so travel to KT7 0BH is essential.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with clients.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
