Property Administrator / Sales Progressor

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Administrator / Sales Progressor to join a successful and well-established estate agency in Northampton.
This is a varied and important role within the business, combining property administration with responsibility for progressing residential sales through to exchange and completion.
You'll work closely with the wider estate agency team, vendors, buyers, solicitors and other property professionals, ensuring transactions remain on track and clients receive a consistently high level of service.
This role would suit an experienced estate agency administrator or sales progression professional who enjoys taking ownership, is highly organised and understands the importance of keeping a property transaction moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property administration from instruction through to completion.
- Progress agreed residential sales through to exchange and completion.
- Liaise regularly with vendors, buyers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and other third parties.
- Chase outstanding information, paperwork and updates to keep transactions moving.
- Monitor the sales pipeline and proactively identify potential delays.
- Keep vendors and buyers informed throughout the progression process.
- Prepare memorandums of sale and other sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and client records.
- Manage property listings and ensure marketing information is accurate.
- Support negotiators and the wider branch team with day-to-day administration.
- Assist with AML, compliance and other regulatory requirements.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Arrange valuations, viewings and appointments where required.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the property journey.
About You
Estate agency experience is essential.
We're looking for someone who understands residential property transactions and can confidently manage both the administrative and progression elements of the role.
You'll have:
- Previous experience within residential estate agency.
- Strong property administration experience.
- Proven experience progressing residential sales.
- A good understanding of the sales process from offer through to completion.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident communication and telephone skills.
- The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good IT skills and experience using estate agency CRM systems.
