Job Summary - Higher pay rate live out
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest services within the hospitality industry, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about menu items and specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing guest needs and taking reservations as necessary.
Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Address any guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Skills

Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Previous experience in guest services within a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
A passion for hospitality and helping others, ensuring every guest feels valued during their visit.
