We are looking for a proactive, confident and creative Sales & Marketing Executive who is equally comfortable picking up the phone to generate new business as they are creating engaging social media content. This varied role offers the opportunity to work closely with the company's directors and play a key part in growing the business and strengthening our brand.
The Role
This is a varied sales and marketing position combining business development, telesales, social media management and marketing support.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound calls, nurturing leads, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the company's marketing activities across multiple digital platforms.
A key part of the role will also involve managing the company's social media presence and creating content for the Managing Director's personal LinkedIn profile to help build brand awareness and industry credibility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of sales and marketing and wants to directly influence the company's growth while benefiting from an uncapped commission structure that rewards success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective clients.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Generate appointments for the Directors and sales team.
- Follow up marketing enquiries and website leads.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Build relationships with prospects
- Assist with sales proposals where required.
- Attend exhibitions and networking events when appropriate.
- Work towards monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Marketing & Social Media
- Manage the company's social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and schedule engaging content that showcases projects, client success stories and company news.
- Create content calendars and manage regular posting schedules.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages where appropriate.
- Track social media performance and recommend improvements.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity.
Director's Personal Brand
- Manage the Director's LinkedIn profile and professional online presence.
- Write engaging LinkedIn posts, articles and thought leadership content.
- Promote company projects, achievements and industry insights.
- Help build the Director's network through strategic engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales, telesales or business development preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience managing business social media accounts preferred but not essential
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable:
- Experience within exhibitions, events, design, construction or creative industries.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing and personal branding.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools.

Full-time, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
