We are a growing housing association based in Nottinghamshire seeking reliable Maintenance Technicians with any or a mix of trades to join our team ASAP!
Main duties
Perform routine and general maintenance across our properties, including:
- Joinery
- Plumbing
- Electrician
- General repairs, painting & decorating, PAT testing, health & safety checks, basic plastering, tiling, brickwork, gardening/landscaping, and CCTV installation & repairs
- Conduct inspections and prioritise work
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Liaise with external contractors
- Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Experience
- Solid electrical and plumbing skills
- Painting & decorating
- Multi-trade or general building background
- Good communication skills (and ability to supervise other maintenance staff if needed)
Essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (this role involves travelling between properties across Nottinghamshire)
- Own set of tools ideally
- Right to work in the UK
- Proficient written and spoken English
Desirable
- Qualifications in Plumbing, Electrics or Joinery
- Previous housing association or similar experience
- Welding skills are a bonus
