Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and attentive Fine Dining Server to provide exceptional service in our upscale restaurant here at Forss House Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to create a memorable dining experience for our patrons. This role involves delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, elegant environment, ensuring guests feel valued and well cared for throughout their visit.
Live in available, Fully furnished new build 2 bedroom Flat roughly 15 minute drive away from the property
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations to enhance the dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide personalised guest services
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred, especially within fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly attitude
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Proven ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences
