As Church Partnerships Manager (Republic of Ireland), you will play an important role in growing Compassion’s impact by building strong, meaningful relationships with churches across the Republic of Ireland. Through engaging presentations, trusted partnerships, and a heart for the Church, you will help connect church leaders and congregations with Compassion’s mission to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
This is a varied and outward-facing role, combining relationship-building, public speaking, sponsorship growth, and fundraising. You will work closely with colleagues across Events, Engagement, and Philanthropy to maximise opportunities, deepen partnerships, and support sustainable growth.
This is a home-based role within the Republic of Ireland, with frequent travel across the region and occasional overseas travel. Because regular in-person engagement is a key part of the role, applicants must be based in the Republic of Ireland, or able to relocate there by the start date.
If you are passionate about the Church, confident in building relationships, and motivated to see lives transformed, this is an opportunity to make a lasting difference
In this role, you will:
- Build and grow church partnerships across your designated area in the Republic of Ireland.
- Inspire churches and congregations to respond to Compassion’s mission through sponsorship and fundraising.
- Represent Compassion through church visits, events, and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Compassion UK & Ireland to achieve shared objectives.
- Actively maintain and promote Compassion’s Christian ethos and values
We are looking for someone who brings a strong combination of relational confidence, self-motivation, and a genuine heart for the Church.
You will likely bring:
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, ideally within church or Christian event contexts.
- A good understanding of church leaders and church culture, with empathy for the realities of ministry and leadership.
- Confidence in public speaking, including speaking or preaching in church settings.
- Sales or fundraising experience, including lead generation, relationship management, and achieving targets.
- Strong self-management, time management, and the ability to work independently.
- Good administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A personal commitment to the Christian faith, as there is an occupational requirement for the role holder to be a practising Christian.
It would also be helpful, although not essential, if you have experience using a CRM or similar system and experience managing or supporting volunteers.
