Full job description

W13 Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing construction-focused business in the search for a Junior Buyer / Administrator.

This opportunity would suit an organised and motivated individual with previous experience within the construction, building materials, engineering, or related sectors. You'll be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner, strong administrative skills, and a desire to develop a long-term career within procurement and buying.

The Role

Supporting the procurement and buying function with daily administrative duties
Raising purchase orders and processing supplier documentation
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments by telephone and email
Obtaining quotations and monitoring supplier performance
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with stock, materials, and delivery schedules
Providing general office support across the business

About You

✔ Previous experience in an administrative, buying, procurement, or construction-related role

✔ Excellent telephone and communication skills

✔ Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail

✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
