Commercial Property Solicitor

We are looking for a qualified solicitor specialising in Commercial Property work.

The successful candidate will be based in our Parkstone Road Office with an excellent salary package offered. You will be presentable, flexible and maintain a friendly and approachable persona with an excellent business development and client care skills. You will work alongside the Partner and be given experience in a wide range of work including site acquisitions, leases and licences, bank finance, and plot development work.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.
- Advising clients on the sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial properties.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, licences and related property documents.
- Conducting due diligence investigations, including title reviews and property searches.
- Advising landlords, tenants, developers, and investors on property matters.
- Handling property acquisitions and disposals for corporate and private clients.
- Assisting with commercial developments and property finance transactions.
- Managing lease renewals, assignments and variations.
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, local authorities and other solicitors.
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
- Ensuring transactions comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support business development.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell services and contribute to the growth of the firm.
- Keeping up to date with changes in commercial property law and industry developments.
- Supporting junior colleagues through mentoring and supervision where appropriate.

Skills & Experience

- Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with landlords, tenants, developers and investors.
