Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef with experience to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and adherence to food safety standards
Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and best practices
Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and optimize efficiency during busy hours
Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging with guests professionally and courteously

Skills

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation of sushi and Japanese cuisine
Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage team dynamics in a fast-paced environment
Excellent understanding of hospitality principles, including serving guests with professionalism and warmth
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food production
