Full job description

We specialise in selling Electronic DJ, Music Production, PA & lighting equipment. We opened our first store 10 years ago. In a very short space of time, we have established ourselves as the leading supplier of DJ equipment in the UK with stores nationwide. 2023 has been another great year for us as we have diversified into selling many new products. We are currently looking for Full Time Staff to work as Customer Service Advisors in our Leeds City Centre Office. The role has a basic salary of £26,250 with typical on target earnings of £30,000.

You’ll be working as part of a passionate and dedicated team within an independent organisation that keeps its values at the heart of everything it does. In this dynamic and varied role, you will be giving our customers the best possible experience. In conjunction with a passion for Music Technology, you will value offering a top-quality service to our customers which will ultimately drive you to succeed in your role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

· Communicating with customer by phone and email on a daily basis to resolve delivery and returns issues.

· Providing our customers with technical support and troubleshooting issues with products.

· Processing customer returns, to include liaising with suppliers effectively to progress refunds and exchanges in a timely manner.

· Testing equipment that has been returned or part exchanged and preparing for resale.

· Occasional other day to day duties as required to support the general operation for the business.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Commitment, drive and self-motivation.
Experience speaking to customers confidently on the telephone.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
Working knowledge and understanding of music equipment is essential.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to use own initiative.
High attention to detail.
Maintain our brand consistency and integrity by always putting our customers first.
Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, 8.30- 4.30PM. 5 shifts per week.
