We have a new vacancy for a Production Scheduling Coordinator to be based at our site in Shipley, Bradford.

CarnaudMetalbox Engineering (CMbE) designs, develops, and manufactures high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the production of beverage, food, and aerosol cans. Your mission in CMbE

Key responsibilities include participating in and chairing operational meetings, as well as developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment across functions. They will monitor material availability and production capacity, track progress against plans, identify potential risks, and resolve scheduling issues to maintain efficient operations. In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate planning data within ERP systems and supporting the continuous improvement of planning processes.

About you

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate efficiency and accuracy using MRP2. Competence in Microsoft Office software applications is essential (Excel / Word / Outlook). The candidate will have scheduling/Supply Chain experience, and preferably a background in manufacturing or engineering.

The ideal candidate will have an organised approach and a 'can-do' attitude necessary to demonstrate enthusiasm to enable you to communicate effectively whilst working to tight deadlines. Approachability is important to this role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively within, and across, project teams.
