Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that combines warehouse duties, driving and office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in different areas of the business and being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Making deliveries and collections using a company vehicle.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse.
Processing orders and completing general office administration.
Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
Supporting colleagues across all areas of the business as required.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Full UK driving licence.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills and confidence using office systems.
Good organisational skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out warehouse duties.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Desirable:

Previous warehouse experience.
Experience in an office or administrative role.
Forklift licence (if applicable).
Knowledge of stock management or order processing systems.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, enjoys variety and takes pride in their work. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable making deliveries, working in the warehouse and helping in the office. Every day is different, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, hardworking and happy to get involved wherever they’re needed.

The role includes frequent lifting, loading and unloading of goods, so applicants must be able to carry out manual handling tasks safely.”

A good level of physical fitness is required due to the nature of the role
