Want to work for a prestigious children’s entertainment company?

We are Princess and the Pea Events - a children’s entertainment company based in Tonbridge, Kent. We specialise in providing entertainment as significant characters for children’s parties, community events and beyond. ‘Magical Experiences, Unforgettable Moments’ is what we live by, and creating everlasting memories is a truly magical experience that we pride ourselves in. We are a small team of seven trained performers (including the two owners). Currently, we cover areas of Kent and parts of East Sussex.

We are looking for a female BIPOC performer to join our talented team to play the main character of The Voyager Princess . Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for someone who will be able to perform and sell the role as massive part of our company is believability of each character and making them as accurate as possible. In this role, there is a requirement to sing. Seasonally, we may offer Christmas and Halloween themed characters as well and we are willing to grow our character base for the right performer.

What we are looking for job:

Aged 16+
Must have or able to get a DBS check
Be able to drive or have a reliable transport - public transport is not always available/ reliable
Performing arts background- able to sing
Weekend availability
Passion to work with children
Friendly and a team player
Confident and kind

Please be aware that in being in this job, you will be considered as self employed. Weekend availability, located in West Kent- base of the company is in Tonbridge.
