Location: Swansea (with travel across South Wales & South West England)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent (Minimum 39 hours/week + Overtime)

Pay: £16.00-£17.50 per hour

About Us

Samatrix Limited is a leading Swansea-based engineering company at the forefront of delivering mechanical water and wastewater projects to UK utility companies. With a number of secured frameworks throughout Wales, we are entering an exciting period of growth through 2026. To meet this demand, we are looking to expand our first-class team with an experienced Mechanical Site Fitter who shares our commitment to quality, health, and safety.

The Role

Based out of our Swansea depot, this is a heavily site-based role primarily covering South Wales and the South West of England. You will assist in the mechanical installations, and help to ensure our high standards are maintained on every project. Progression through the company is encouraged with opportunities to further your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical installation of pumping plant, pipework, handrailing etc.
Installation of water and wastewater treatment plant equipment.
Interpreting mechanical arrangement, process, and schematic drawings.
Site surveys.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications: Ideally you would have completed apprenticeship or formal training in a mechanical discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience in mechanical plant site fitting.
Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and proficiency in MS Word/Excel for documentation.
Licence: Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
Certifications: Ideally holds a CSCS card (or equivalent H&S competency)
Bonus Points: Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.
