Full job description

Torcare is an established care provider and we pride ourselves on providing exemplary levels of care and support for all our residents.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as an Administration and Activity Assistant.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate records

· Organise and run activities ensuring they are accessible

· Maintain activity records and document resident participation

· Manage rotas

· Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries

· Be friendly and welcoming to visitors in the home

· Organise appointments for the residents

· Assist with payroll/timesheets

· Filing and scanning

· General office administration

· Complying with CQC standards and Torcare procedures

Experience and Requirements:

· Previous experience working in a care home is desirable

· Computer literate with experience of word, excel and outlook as a minimum

· Excellent organisation skills and communication skills both verbal and written

· Able to manage your time effectively

· Good attention to detail

· Able to work as part of a team

· Enthusiastic and motivated

· Take responsibility for safeguarding of adults, and follow the Company’s whistleblowing policy as required

· To support the smooth running of the home through a flexible approach to the rota

· To comply with the Company’s Standards on appearance

· To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development

Shift pattern will be discussed at interview

No weekends

20 hours per week

Pay: £13.20 per hour
