Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Evening Butcher – Meat Cutter to join our team. This role involves cutting, and processing meat products to the highest standards, ensuring quality for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a butchery or meat prep within a professional kitchen environment.

Duties

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and quality standards
Ensure all meat products are handled in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, adhering to hygiene standards
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
Assist in packaging and labelling meat products for retail or wholesale purposes
Follow all health and safety procedures during food preparation and handling

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, culinary arts, or butchery is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry
Experience in food preparation, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is advantageous
Strong understanding of meat cutting techniques
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently during evening shifts in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
