Roofing Estimator / Surveyor

DFR Roofing Ltd – Torquay
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

DFR Roofing are looking for a Roofing Estimator / Surveyor to join our team at our Torquay office.

This role would suit someone with existing experience in roofing, construction, estimating or surveying. We would also consider a Junior Estimator / Surveyor who is well organised, confident using computers, and keen to develop within the roofing industry.

The role will include:

Reviewing drawings, specifications and enquiry documents
Attending site surveys
Measuring works and preparing quotations
Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Working closely with our contracts and office teams
Helping move projects from enquiry stage through to order

The right person will have:

Good organisation and attention to detail
Confident computer skills, including email, Excel and PDF documents
Good communication skills
A practical understanding of construction or roofing would be an advantage
Ability to manage multiple enquiries at once
A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience in roofing estimating would be preferred, but we are open to someone at junior level if they have the right skills and approach.
