Production Line Manager

Location: Newton Abbot
Salary: £38,447.76 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time contract
Working Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, to include weekends, on a rota basis

We are looking for a Production Line Manager to join our team! In this hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of a production line, guiding your team to meet targets safely, efficiently and with a focus on continuous improvement. Your leadership will support both business performance and personal growth, fostering a culture where safety, quality and job satisfaction go hand in hand.

As part of our wider Production team, you’ll collaborate with your team, Team Leaders, Production Managers and other departments to keep everything running smoothly. Together, you’ll work towards shared goals in a supportive, inclusive and forward-thinking environment.

If you have:

Experience managing a team in a fast-paced production or process environment
A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
The ability to analyse performance data and make informed decisions

And you are:

A strong leader with excellent coaching and communication skills
Committed to safety, quality and performance standards
Organised, proactive and solutions-focused

About the Role

As a Production Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading a production line to deliver operational targets relating to quality, safety, cost and performance.

You will be responsible for managing team performance, coordinating labour, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Additionally, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
