Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their growth through engaging activities and personalised care. The Nursery Nurse Level 3 will play a vital role in creating a positive atmosphere that promotes learning, creativity, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that support children's developmental needs
Provide personalised care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of each child
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times
Support children with their individual needs, including behavioural guidance and encouragement
Lead and manage small groups of children, demonstrating leadership skills in organising activities
Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist with the training and mentoring of junior staff or apprentices where appropriate
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education recognised by relevant authorities
Proven experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative
