Charge Nurse

Salary: £23.58 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pitfodels Wood Care Home, Aberdeen – Opening Autumn 2026

Pitfodels Wood is our brand new 65-bed, luxury care home located in Aberdeen’s prestigious Pitfodels Conservation Area in the city’s sought-after West End. Combining five-star hospitality with high-quality, person-centred care, we are setting a new benchmark for care in the North East.

Joining our team as a Charge Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering clinical excellence through an evidence-based, personalised approach to care. Through your leadership, expertise, and commitment to best practice, you will ensure residents receive the highest standards of care while maintaining our values-driven approach.

Combining your clinical expertise with compassionate leadership, you will inspire, support and oversee the care team, leading the delivery of first-class person-centred care for the residents of Pitfodels Wood.

What we are looking for

You will be a registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RLDN) with active NMC registration and proven experience within a care home setting.

Beyond your qualifications, you will demonstrate:

Strong clinical knowledge and values driven
Understanding of Scottish regulatory frameworks
The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
Professional, compassionate and motivated - you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
