Full job description

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and interested in the journey a product takes from concept to customer? As our Compliance Production Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our Compliance and Production teams to help ensure our products are safe, compliant and ready to reach customers across the globe.

From maintaining technical files and ensuring essential safety documentation is in place, to supporting manufacturing schedules and keeping things moving behind the scenes, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across two key areas of our business. No two days will be quite the same!

Key responsibilities

Supporting the Compliance team with administrative tasks related to safety: preparing Safety Assessments, Declarations of Conformity, completing documents for customer-specific testing, gathering documents and uploading to customer portals
Working closely with the Procurement and Production departments to assist with compliance administration, e.g. locating relevant test reports, logging on Dynamics (operating system)
Assisting Sales team with completing declarations for customers and helping with estimating costs for safety testing
Managing the compliance inbox, answering and escalating compliance queries (internal and external) to the relevant contacts
Responsible for data input into Dynamics – test reports, BOMs (Bills of Materials)
Filing test reports, BOMs, Safety Data Sheets, and other relevant documents from testing labs and from suppliers on shared drive
Communicating with suppliers to request relevant documentation, monitoring responses and ensuring they arrive as per agreed deadlines

This role is based in our office in Bath. Only applicants that are in commuting distance or planning to relocate will be considered.
