Full job description

Salary

70-80% commission on self-generated business (Self Employed).
50% commission on company-provided leads (Self Employed).
Retainers available for the first 3-6 months.
No network deductions as the firm is directly authorised.
Employed option if preferred.

Location

Head office based in the Cotswolds.
Other office in Mayfair, London.
Hybrid working with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the Cotswolds office.
Flexibility to work from home and travel to London or client meetings as required.
Clients are located across the UK and internationally.

Our client is a Directly Authorised boutique mortgage and lending brokerage with an outstanding reputation in the high net worth, landed estates, and international client market. The business has strong relationships with accountants, solicitors, buying agents, and other professional introducers.

Mortgage Advisor Responsibilities

Advise clients on suitable residential mortgage solutions.
Build and develop your own client base through business development and networking.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients through annual reviews and regular contact.
Work closely with high net worth individuals, landed estates, and international clients.
Generate your own business while making use of the firm’s established reputation and support infrastructure.
Deliver a high-quality, relationship-driven service.
Collaborate with professional introducers to develop new opportunities.

Experience Needed to Become a Mortgage Advisor

At least 2 years mortgage advising experience is essential.
Ability to self-generate leads and work independently.
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated mindset.
Experience working with high net worth or complex lending clients is desirable.
CeMAP or an equivalent mortgage qualification is required.
Experience in commercial lending, bridging finance, or development finance would be advantageous for those interested in commercial opportunities.
