Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our growing team and help enhance our clinical services. You will play a key role in delivering expert pharmaceutical care across various hospitals and clinics, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and improving patient outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
We value continuous learning and support professional development, offering funding opportunities such as the Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics and the European Certificate in Palliative Care (post-probation). We are looking for proactive, self-motivated pharmacists with strong communication skills, a passion for clinical excellence, and a positive approach to teamwork and service development.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Attend allocated site visits punctually to meet contractual obligations.
· Perform audits, including prescription chart screening for clinical appropriateness.
· Communicate effectively with all relevant staff, while becoming familiar with the site's relevant policies and procedures.
· Undertake medicines management audits on-site to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
· Work alongside other Health Care Professionals to provide specialist information and advice, ensuring services are patient-centred and delivered in a manner that meets the needs of patients and other stakeholders.
· Provide clinical training seminars to Health Care Professionals.
· Involved in driving change, supporting with policy reviews and changes where appropriate.
· Maintain registration, as a pharmacist, with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and to act in accordance with the code of ethics.
· Opportunities to gain Post graduate Certificate in Psychiatric therapeutics, European Certificate in Palliative care
· Hospital experience would be an advantage, however we welcome applications from Community Pharmacists with a keen interest.
· There will be a need for travel across a region, depending on assigned work and location of sites that we service.
· You will report and be supported by our Senior Clinical Pharmacists.

Essential Qualifications
· Master’s degree in pharmacy, or equivalent at time of qualification.
· Minimum 1 year post qualification experience is required.
· GPhC Registered.
· Have a valid UK driver’s licence, with the ability to travel.
· Ability to work on own initiative, plan and manage time.
· Excellent attention to detail, including proof reading skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
· Commitment to learn and develop clinical knowledge.
· Basic IT skills in Microsoft programmes e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Aspiration to achieve clinical excellence.
Up to FTE £48,000.00 per year prorated and dependent on experience
